ABOUT PELICAN PIZZA
Pelican Pizza
was founded in 1985 and has been serving Monterey Peninsula customers ever since. There are many reasons why our pizza is the best! Our produce is purchased from local suppliers and production companies.
Our dough is hand tossed and made fresh daily from scratch then aged two days prior to use so the yeast is activated slowly; a process that improves the quality and taste. Our sauce is also made daily from the freshest high-quality ingredients available to us. We use one of the highest-grade California cheeses available as well and then blend it with one or two other types of California cheeses of the same high quality to create a perfect blend, texture, and taste.
We can do all this and more because we are not a franchise and are not bound by any limitations other than creating the best pizza we can for our customers. Pelican Pizza's ever-growing menu is based on customer requests which include specialty pizzas, salads, cold and hot subs, calzones, breadsticks with cheese, chicken wings, Pepsi and Coke products, beer, wine and a variety of desserts.
